Blue Ray

Blue Ray are the South West’s top jazz, swing and party band. They perform for festivals, events and venues throughout the UK. Whether you’re looking for an evening of sophisticated jazz or lively songs for dancing, Blue Ray provide high class entertainment for your venue or event. 

The band features some of South’s top Jazz musicians including; pianist Matt Johns, drummer Pip Harbon, saxophonist Pete Turin, double bassist James MacPhail and vocalist Charlie Bishop. 

Blue Ray have appeared at; Cafe De Paris, China White and The Bedford in London, St Ives Jazz club, Plymouth Jazz club, Knightor Winery, Pengenna Manor House, The Bearded Brewery, The Barn at Pengelly, The Honky Tonk wine Library in Plymouth, The Boileroom and Bar Des Arts in Guildford and for residencies at Sandbanks Yacht club and The Harbour Heights Hotel in Poole, Dorset.

We hired Blue Ray for our gin and jazz night. They had a great repertoire of songs and at the end of the night everyone was up and dancing. They were fantastic and I would whole heartedly recommend. We are getting them back for another event in fact! Claire, PVH committee.
