Charlie Bishop
Charlie Bishop has over 20 years experience performing with jazz, swing, soul, cabaret, tribute and function bands but her first love has always been jazz. She has appeared with international cabaret act, ‘The It Girls’, tribute acts, ‘ABBA’s Angels, ABBA ReBjorn and ABBA Revival and girlband, The Sapphires as well as with her jazz/swing band ‘Blue Ray’ for festivals and events at venues including: Cafe De Paris, Madame Tussaud’s, China White, The Bedford in London, St Ives Jazz Club and festivals in Cornwall, Greece and Morocco.
Matt Johns
Matthew is a seasoned/pro piano player and has years of experience performing jazz, pop, rock, classical, electronic and everything else in between. One of the South West’s top jazz pianists, he has won numerous awards for his music as well as composing and recording for film. Gig highlights include the London jazz festival, Jazz A Vienne in France, St Ives Jazz Club and appearing at numerous festivals and events throughout the UK.
Pip Harbon
Pip has played Jazz in the Middle East, Big Band work across Europe, National tours with numerous bands and has worked with many artists all over the UK (including support slots for the Carl Palmer Band and the Jan Ackerman Band) and playing with John Etheridge (Soft Machine, Zappatistas, Tony Williams), Andy McIntosh (Buddy Rich Band), Gilad Atzmon (Blockheads), Roy Williams, Pete Oxley, Luis D´Agostino, Jim Mullen (Average White Band), Peter King and Alan Skidmore (Charlie Watts´ Band, Elvin Jones´ Band), Jean Toussaint,(Art Blakey´s Jazz Messengers), Greg Abate( Ray Charles´ Band), Harry Beckett, Roger Beaujolais, Ed Jones, Alan Barnes, Ray Russell (Simon Phillips´ Protocol), Olaf Vas, Mornington Lockett, Tim Whithead, Dave Whitford, the Bournemouth Sinfonieta and countless others.
