Blue Ray are one of the South West’s top jazz/swing bands. They perform for festivals, events and venues throughout the UK. Whether you’re looking for atmospheric jazz or upbeat swing songs to get you dancing, Blue Ray provide high class entertainment for your venue or event.
The band features some of South West’s top jazz musicians including; pianist Matt Johns, guitarist Jamie Crowle, vocalist Charlie Bishop, drummers Pip Harbon and Damian Rodd, saxophonist Roberto Manzin and Pete Turin and double bassists James MacPhail and Alex Black.
Blue Ray have appeared at; Cafe De Paris, China White and The Bedford in London, St Ives Jazz club, Plymouth Jazz club, Knightor Winery, The Greenbank Hotel, St Mawes Hotel, The Driftwood Spars in St Agnes, St Agnes MMI and The Bootlegger Bar in Exeter, The Boileroom and Bar Des Arts in Guildford and for residencies at The R Bar in St Ives, Sandbanks Yacht club and The Harbour Heights Hotel in Poole, Dorset.
